< Chem > it's occurred to me that i could potentially recreate aspects of my old web experience on discord by running servers themed towards different things i liked at the time and that have the policies i use.
that could be rly fun actually

< Zayne > Okay now that I'm running Discord servers again, and running multiple that take in members of the general public (with verification), this is very exciting. I get much of the same rush as I do when socializing offline and meeting new people at karaoke or shows, but I can do it from home.
< Jadis > I am posting again about Digital Forest, the new adults-only alterhuman server I am running on Discord! There is a verification process that does not involve ID, and information about that, as well as a copy of the rules and the join link, are available on our server's Neocities!
tiny flower princess
@cryptids The server is up!
< Jimmy > We've made an alterhuman server on Discord now! It's called Digital Forest and it has a Neocities that has the join link on it. The Neocities says what the rules are and also explains the verification process (NOT ID-based).
< Trevor > Also, for anyone concerned about accessibility and the alterhuman Discord server I'm going to run, because I know I have difficulty writing image descriptions: I'm including some stuff including that image descriptions are required in all parts of the server EXCEPT for some "no id" channels that are opt-in. I'm also making a channel for the use of typing quirks so those who want to use them have a space to use them but those who can't read them don't have to.
< Tress > Thinking of running an adults-only alterhuman Discord server. Would anyone from here be interested?
< Trevor > Sorry I don't have too much pleasant to post right now. I've been stressed over medical shit and in trying to understand why certain things have been happening to me, I've had to get really analytical about certain shit and it's making me be in my head too much in ways I don't like.
< Trevor > I will reiterate though that these observations are based on real life experiences, and if you come at me saying "you're completely wrong about these", I may have to traumadump at you to explain why I think about these things, so complain at your own risk I guess.
< Trevor > After trying to make sense of some of my life experiences, the only things that make sense for me to believe are
I don't particularly want to argue about these things but I do want to make it known that this is how I see things.
< Kino > I am in a very good mood, my top surgery stuff is going well, I've been really social on Discord, I've been able to talk about my self-ships to some new people, I have a cake in the oven that's strawberry coconut vanilla, everything is going good <3
< Kino > I've found out more stuff has been approved for my top surgery, and my insurance will be able to pay for the transportation to and from it!
< Kino > I made a personal site for myself as an alter! https://whokilledmrmoonlight.neocities.org/
BTW I'm a "face of the system" type alter so a lot of stuff about me is overall true of the system!
never forget that on the internet you are at risk of being quoted in wiktionary at all times https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/pakige
< Kino > Baking again. This time it's a yellow cake with ginger and chocolate chips, and cinnamon on the top.
< Merrick > I love being a factive of someone who is both famous and deeply pathetic because there is so much documentation of him being a loser and it makes me feel good about myself because no matter how pathetic I personally am, I can never outdo my source.
< Trevor > Also one last thing, but "[person] should die" is a different sentence than "[person] is worthless to me" or "I don't value [person]'s life". The first one is a statement wishing violence upon someone, but the others are statements that you personally don't value that person or think they're important. My system used to go around saying we wanted people to die, and then we cut that out because we realized it was immature, but we DO talk about certain people being worthless. However, saying you don't value someone is not the same as saying you think their life should be snuffed from this Earth.
