< Trevor > Also, for anyone concerned about accessibility and the alterhuman Discord server I'm going to run, because I know I have difficulty writing image descriptions: I'm including some stuff including that image descriptions are required in all parts of the server EXCEPT for some "no id" channels that are opt-in. I'm also making a channel for the use of typing quirks so those who want to use them have a space to use them but those who can't read them don't have to.

< Trevor > Sorry I don't have too much pleasant to post right now. I've been stressed over medical shit and in trying to understand why certain things have been happening to me, I've had to get really analytical about certain shit and it's making me be in my head too much in ways I don't like.

< Trevor > I will reiterate though that these observations are based on real life experiences, and if you come at me saying "you're completely wrong about these", I may have to traumadump at you to explain why I think about these things, so complain at your own risk I guess.

< Trevor > After trying to make sense of some of my life experiences, the only things that make sense for me to believe are

1. Institutions, while real, are run and maintained by individuals, including ones who are not rich or prominent. The institutional level cannot be wholly and completely separated from the individual level unless you wish to assert that all institutions are completely run by robots or something.
2. Theory is a useful framework for explaining how certain things tend to go and why they go a certain way when they do, but it does not account for every real life situation that happens, and if there's a real life situation that defies your understanding of political theory, that's because theory is, well, theory.

I don't particularly want to argue about these things but I do want to make it known that this is how I see things.

< Merrick > I love being a factive of someone who is both famous and deeply pathetic because there is so much documentation of him being a loser and it makes me feel good about myself because no matter how pathetic I personally am, I can never outdo my source.

< Trevor > Also one last thing, but "[person] should die" is a different sentence than "[person] is worthless to me" or "I don't value [person]'s life". The first one is a statement wishing violence upon someone, but the others are statements that you personally don't value that person or think they're important. My system used to go around saying we wanted people to die, and then we cut that out because we realized it was immature, but we DO talk about certain people being worthless. However, saying you don't value someone is not the same as saying you think their life should be snuffed from this Earth.
