Good morning, all.
My new video is up! In this one I talk about the allegations that ChatGPT and Anthropic stole prominent researchers' work via the users' inputs into their AI models as well as options you have to protect your data when using LLM's.

Hey all, this is your periodic reminder to donate to your instance.
I do, and frankly, I'd rather pay a few bucks every month than deal with shitty ads and algorithms.

New video is up!
This week's video is about Muse, from Meta AI, and the 404 Media report where internal Meta engineers speculated that a data breach related to Muse may be inevitable. I also discuss general risks around AI agents and previous security incidents with Muse.

This week I talk about Microsoft Copilot's prompt review program, privacy risks of using LLM's and leaks, and discuss a European privacy alternative.
Note: There are some off color jokes in this one and I do wish some bad things on pedophiles.

A magical thing has happened.
My Anti-Spotify video has reached a view count sufficient such that, if every viewer canceled their Spotify sub and switched to Metrolist, then it would mathematically cost Spotify a million dollars a year. (Assuming they're subbed at the $21.99 tier.)
Not bad for a small youtuber and a single dumb video.
New video is up!
This is an actual positive video for your Friday. I talk about the public backlash against Flock and how it's translating into real change, as evidenced by the massive hit to Flock's profits and their decision to offer employee buyouts.

A little bummed.
Just read about an 82 year-old who (her words) "hit something", checked behind her probably big-ass SUV, saw nothing, and then drove home.
The something she hit was a Norwegian guy in the US to roller-blade from New York to California, and he died.
I fucking hate car culture here.
If you, like me, gave up on Dragon's Dogma 2 because of the QOL annoyances, I just loaded it up to reacquaint myself ahead of the DLC coming out in three weeks and it looks like the devs did a ton of quality-of-life changes.
Might be good to give it another shot.
Good morning, folks.
My new video is up! It's about Enrico Pucci, a disgraced Australian businessman who used remote functionality in his estranged partner's Tesla to terrorize her. (But don't worry, he got convicted.)
If you enjoy the video, please give it a 'like' since that helps us tiny creators a whole bunch. Thank you.

Honest question:
Has the word 'cunt' become socially acceptable to use in the US. I know it's used commonly pretty much everywhere else in the world, but I distinctly remember it being very taboo in the 2010's.
All right y'all. We're doing this.
Second video in two days, because I'm a dumb Youtuber who has never heard of a 'duress password', and I am sure I'm not the only one.
And what do we do when we discover a new topic? Be the first to make the video.
I'll drop the link here once I upload. Huzzah.
