This is in context of Bluesky welcoming JD Vance to their platform with an email to Fox News, allowing him to post transphobic stuff, welcoming other prominent transphobes, while simultaneously banning people who were disrespectful to Charlie Kirk.

There is a far right pattern emerging in how Bluesky chooses to ban or not ban people.

The structure of BlueSky Corporation is all wrong for any benevolent effect on the world:

Almost all their users are on centralised corporate infrastructure they control.

The company's owners are venture capitalists and that blockchain company, they of course have the final say over what direction the company takes.

It's a for-profit corporation and AFAIK its staff own shares so they have a direct financial incentive to attract a generous buyout by Google or whoever.

It's based in a country rapidly sliding into authoritarianism where a far right government strongarms the media into doing its bidding.

Absolutely. He deliberately included it in the speech to signal support for Trump and the far right.

There was no other reason to mention it in the context of a speech like that.

More interesting would be, how came that, now that his regular contacts with foreign officials have become publicly known, why does he continue to hold that clearance?
