Imagine Star Trek replicators but they work at the speed of modern 3d printers so Picard says "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot" and comes back 12 hours later to find half a cup, random glass fibres everywhere, and tea dripping on the floor.

Are there services for something like “temporary” free hosting? I need around 1GB of web space on which to host the website for a domain I've recently recovered (long story) until I can migrate to a more sensible registrar that is (1) cheaper and (2) offers said modicum of space included in the price, but I cannot migrate said domains for another two months approximately.

(I would self-host, but at the moment I can't for reasons)

AI isn't "doing" anything, it's stealing the things humans already made, while simultaneously boiling the planet and handing over power to a bunch of authoritarians.

There are plenty of alternatives if you can't afford to commission an artist, Wikimedia Commons etc are full of non-AI images available free of charge under CC licence.

The game publishing giant EA has been taken over by the Saudi government, Saudi Arabia now owns 93.4% of EA.

LGBTQIA+ rights do not exist at all in Saudi Arabia. The penalty for homosexuality is death.

If you weren't already avoiding EA, it might be a good idea to stop buying their games.

EDIT: Just to make it totally clear, the problem is the Saudi Arabian government, not Saudi people.

It's the authoritarian Saudi regime that represses its own people. The Saudi people are the victims.

Anche a me piace far fare ai miei personaggi cose che a me piace fare, e quando trovo queste cose mi commuovo.

Anche perché finché sono scacchi o leggere romanzi famosi, grazie, tutti sono capaci. Ma un gioco di carte come il Machiavelli? Quella è una cosa prettamente italiana, ed anche qui sconosciuta ai piú.

A proposito di #AO3, ho trovato una storia originale, in italiano, in cui ad un certo punto i personaggi giocano a #Machiavelli e la cosa mi ha scaldato il cuore.
