83 birds in the net yesterday. 74 received a ring, 9 were retraps that had a ring from before. Total of 10 species, mostly redpolls, but a flock of redwings, wheatears, and greenfinches passed through the nets as well.
Species ringed: willow warbler, sedge warbler, redpoll, twite, greenfinch, bluethroat, wheathear, redwing, rock pipit, meadow pipit.

So (sadly) the Fascist Frog has won the Clacton by election polling 22,239 votes but Count Binface came a respectable second poling 9,455 votes.
The Frog did no attend the declaration in person citing police advice that its dangerous (advice the BBC says Essex police have given no candidate); good way to start his next period as an MP, with a lie.
The protest vote was split, but would not have been sufficient to unseat the Frog; turnout (44%) for a by-election.

Accidentally strolled into Platekompaniet today and was pleased to see that it was actually full of vinyl records.
12" LPs were taking up the large majority of the floor space. I feel like I used to go in there and it was mostly BluRays and DVDs, with a small selection of vinyl in the corner. Now it's flipped.
Anyway, they had a 2 for 550 kr offer on, so I picked up some great American punk-pop albums that I only ever had on CD and British pop that I only had on streaming services.
Don't forget that you can add events to Last.fm too.
The first soundbar I got was made by Philips and it was good. The second one I got was also Philips - a Philips Fidelio and its also very good.
BUT, one feature I have absolutely hated since buying it (many moons ago), is that in a bid to be environmentally friendly, it turns off after 10-15 mins of receiving no audio. And you cant flip this feature OFF.
Which would be okay, except I also run my gaming PC through this to the TV. So when I'm browsing Steam, or writing toots - BAM! Black screen.
