The point I want to make: those 39.7C happened _here_, where I live.
I find the deafening silence about all this brutal.
The weather station in Binningen is close to our office, maybe 500m, and about 4km from where I live.
It is at 316m over sea level, not in a valley.

It's a report noting that the highest temperature ever measured in Switzerland, north of the Alps, was reached for the second time: 39.7C
It was first breached back on the 7th of July 2025 somewhere in Geneva, then last Thursday in Binningen, where our local weather station is. That day, they also measured the highest ever daily low at 25.3C in the night.
Going outside today to ride into Basel was a shock! It's insanely hot!
On my way to work earlier today. The defining thing, to me, is the colour, and the dryness that is absolutely everywhere.
We are also pondering reversing the points on column H, and we're not yet sure how to count column J.

5hrs ago, we started for a second round, this time applying the rules, and rather than using elimination, count how many rules a name would pass, so using ranking.
It is now 2am, and we are pausing until Friday, but this looks promising!
I came back from a company party at half past 1, sat down to go through my feed here, got sidetracked a little, and it is now 20 past 2 am and tomorrow is a normal workday.
In the pre-diagnosis days, I would have been disappointed with myself, or annoyed, or something else. Now I can see that I needed to come down, and I do a lot of that on the computer.
I'll still be tired tomorrow, but I won't beat myself up about it.

BK2 (to the others): "Guys, papa is not famous!"
Honestly, that sounds like a scenario I could have come up with!

This is BK1 & BK2. They do not want BK3 on the show because - "you have no attention span and your 'on the spot argumentative skills' are not good enough".
So, BK3 is allowed to make a third show, likely named "Why are we still here?" or "Anyway..." where she reacts to both our shows, and asks people for donations so she can get out.
My children think I should do a Youtube show called "WORST CASE SCENARIO" in which I take simple scenarios and follow my natural instinct to think them through, usually with bad or morbid consequences.
I am strangely attracted to the idea...

I have built all my apps as FOSS and reproducible builds since the beginning, because trust can only be gained, and being open is a good way to gain it.
People ask "why do you want to test for ADHD? What will a result change? It won't change who you _are_?!"
In my case, the question came up a bunch of times when I mused about also checking for AuDHD.
My guess is that I do not have easy access to how I feel, and being able to explain things helps me understand, and then feel.
Yes, that sounds like it is the wrong way round.
Q: Does anybody know why my account on GitLab would have been disabled, or what I could do about it?
I am building apps for Android to be published on F-Droid, and using GitLab is part of the workflow, so now I'm stuck.
