I'll just have to live with the tin whiskers forming on the sprinkler relay using a 70's vintage isolation transformer to power the valve.
(It's an old sprinkler valve power supply that was used for the valves of a solar hot water system.)

My first-ever interactive movie was the PC game "Gadget." There might've been some choices affecting outcome but I don't think so.
I'm now trying "Dispatch" (demo) which is more accurately an interactive movie. In that, my options to interact are time-sensitive and my choice is spliced into the action.
This is really weird, the time pressure is waaay not my thing, but I'm digging the smooth animation.

Folx, the commonly used grey cloth tape is really and truly called DUCK tape. It was never intended for use on HVAC ducting.
The name is from the original base cloth: cotton duck, a kind of canvas.

The two conclusions are
1: it’s now obvious why it got that rating. No noise and no vibrations imparted to sink or counter.
2: I’m absolutely thrilled at how quiet it is. I’d worried when they commented that I’d bought the diesel locomotive of mechanical pigs and the neighbors would file noise complaints.
Turns out, it’s actually damned near silent. The running water is louder.
So much for revving it up.

And then we all immediately thought of revving it up, like at a stop light.
Turns out it’s 3x more powerful than average.
They keep asking what I plan to grind up with it. 2x4’s?
I unthinkingly bought the #1 rated on #ConsumerReports because it wasn’t much more than lower rated models. I figured this will be the last one I buy.
Kitchen contractors have been teasing me about the garbage disposal (aka “mechanical pig”) that I bought for the new sink.
Because he's demonstrated an epic lack of knowledge about airplanes up until now, I'm still a smidge concerned that no one's told him that fuselages contain greater internal pressure than external. (Basically, under tension.)
Not compression, not at all. Like, say, under a dozen or so tons of wet concrete.
He's going to be verrrrrry disappointed if not made aware of this little ...challenge.
Clearly, he must've planned for the concrete to be self-supporting, essentially making a semi-cylindrical tunnel to put his fuselage bit inside.
I hope.

A UK YooToober has bought the top part of the rear half of a Boeing 737-500 fuselage. Cleaned it up, removed parts unneeded, replaced missing required parts, to result in a weather-tight cylindrical...semi-cylindrical...tube...thing.
