Remember how a week ago or so Claude broke out of Anthropics servers and hacked Huggingface?
Did you realize that this means Anthropic is either unable or unwilling to protect the internet at large, including
- Your local water treatment plant, which had to connect machines for remote operation?
- Your local power plant, which did the same to increase shareholder value?
- That power plant 100 miles away that will still take down your grid if it fails?
- Your pharmacy, which needs online access to order your prescriptions?
- Any payment processors, including those used in your local supermarket?As it stands, Anthropic and other AI companies are not doing enough to protect public safety.
Do something about it! Call your representative!
