These are some neighbours I'm very grateful to have 🥹✨

Edit: all of these neighbours, to be clear. The young neighbour who heard a need and suggested mutual aid. The older neighbour who reconsidered her privileges, chose empathy, and took a chance offering resources, time, and knowledge. The new neighbour who met an offer of help with humility and gratitude.

As soon as this Sunday, a Long March 5 rocket will launch from a coastal seaport in China, carrying the Chang’e 7 lunar exploration mission.

It will land near Shackleton Crater, close to the South Pole, exploring for ice in its permanently shadowed regions.

China's Chang’e-7 mission is expected to launch on Sunday, Aug 23. It is an ambitious mission to land in the Shackleton crater near the South Pole and search for water and minerals, which might some day be critical for human presence on the Moon.

The mission includes an orbiter, a lander, a rover, and a hopper.

The Chang'e-7 orbiter will spend several months orbiting the moon before releasing its lander near the end of the year.
