If you watch a hundred cars go by and note how many clearly need body work, or taillights to be replaced, or you can hear a grinding noise, you know exactly how the economy is going for the average person.

I've been surveying my journey into pottery. Initially, it was just a way to burn some time and get myself out of the house. The studio I go to is literally 3 minutes from my house. So it was convenient and fun. I started with a month of hand building work, and my teacher, Cris, was really excellent. Just the right balance of teaching technique and promoting exploration.
Like everyone, I assume, I started with pinch pots and coil building. I made a cowrie bead shaped soy sauce dispenser 1/
