    started watching Boys II Planet a few weeks ago because the algorithm kept showing me contestants covering skz songs.

    but so many of the performances are so bad, and I don't care enough about the ones that are good, and the way these shows are edited drives me crazy with dragging everything out to be four times as long as it needs to be.

    so I have resolved to ... stop watching it. gosh.

    is it actually possible to *stop* watching a specific season of an idol survival show once one has started watching it?

    yes it is! I believe in my ability to do this thing!

    @lookitmychicken an impressive resolution! Put down the bad book!

    If shows like this were edited better, less tedious to watch, it would be easier to find things to care about that would make it worth watching performances that were overall bad but have one interesting contestant. They shoot themselves in the foot.

    @rhamphorhynchus there are about 3 or 4 contestants in boys ii planet where I care enough to hope they do well.

    Everyone else is either fine I guess, or really not ready to debut and just there to provide drama.

    Also it's so so rare for any of these survival show groups to be given good songs after they debut. So even if I get attached to particular trainees and they make it into the final debut group, I rarely want to listen to any of the debuted group's music. 😟
