IT'S #MONSTERDON

we will be watching:

The Bat (1959)

"A killer called the Bat has claimed many lives in the small town inhabited by novelist Cornelia van Gorder (Agnes Moorehead) and her maid, Lizzie (Lenita Lane). As Cornelia implores Dr. Malcolm Wells (Vincent Price) to help her ailing maid, $1 million in the town's bank goes missing. With greed and fear reaching new heights, police Lt. Andy Anderson (Gavin Gordon) goes to Cornelia's house to investigate additional murders committed by the Bat."

Ode to Taco Bell, by Éros Brousson:

“For years I thought that Taco Bell was a fictional restaurant in video game like GTA, a place that only existed between a strip club, a gun store, and a man in a Hawaiian shirt committing a felony.

“Then I landed in Miami and there it was: between a strip club, a gun store, and a man in a Hawaiian shirt committing a felony. The purple bell glowing in the dark like a church for people whose evening has gone horribly wrong”

October 1 means.... it's podcast day!

Listen to me and @mallory_sinn on Another Girl's Treasure as we blather about Incubus (1966), the weird Esperanto-language horror film starring William Shatner, which was shot in 10 days in Northern California ... without any dialect coaching!

Episode's up on our website, on YouTube, and should appear momentarily on Apple Podcasts via our feed:

I don't need no GPU buddy for that."

Hey, I made it into Wikipedia after all

thanks to ai, saying you're "dating a model" is a lot less likely to impress anyone nowadays

this is the perfect metaphor to understand the distinction between AI doomer concerns versus AI skeptic concerns

It is unfair and misleading to post this juxtaposition as if it means something. However, also, I find it very funny

I just realized that watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force sober is like watching 3d movies without those red-and-blue glasses.
