It's very understandable practise. But some people do animation as a hobby and are financially secure otherwise! And bless them haha!

@SnowTouch Most other people's animations use software like DAZ, whereas I create my own cartoon-style characters. These are two completely different levels of difficulty. My main goal is to practice animation, modeling, and design skills, so these animations are just a byproduct of my practice.
The most important thing is that if I start charging for my work in any form, it becomes a commercial activity. Then, I would have to cater to everyone's tastes, which I cannot accept.
