mdx’s sets were bouncy af, and i loved hearing that new vhs head track as well as a track from that massive new wzrdryav and seekersinternational collab. ace

short vid from @Lime’s excellent, sparse, moody, weighty, sparkly (too short!) set ♨️♨️

see you on wednesday @sean_ae @Lime ~~ can't wait to hear the new live sets 👽

just cleaned up and restored a minidisc player i got ages ago at a garage sale that that was all gunked up, and giving the newly-cleaned player a workout by listening to gescom's minidisc on shuffle as @sean_ae intended

i've been noticing hexagons everywhere for the past few days is this the first stage of boc psychosis

i'm glad i caught the boc wavelengths early i guess https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQk6k6V_5aA

@Cognessence finally gave HABITATIONS a proper listen, just finished, i'll be shocked if this isn't in my top 10 for the year. Fantastic album, will be revisiting again and again. love both the compositions and the textures, specifically the horn-like synths and the beautiful papery pads. nothing but love for this ✨

wading deep in the waters of trying to do depth and precise stereo placement mixing for a new ep. I still feel like i'm shit at it but it's fascinating. if i had any fucking coding ability i would definitely work on a vst/clap/au version of the revolver plugins in jeskola tho those were better than anything i've tried yet in terms of pinpoint accurate binaural stereo placement

tinnitus warning: if you have sensitive ears and own antibacterial wipes, don't be like me and make sure to check the fine print and active substances of said wipes for ototoxic chemicals BEFORE using them to clean your headphones/iems/earbuds.

i mean it would be nice if there was some kind of clearly-labeled warning on the packaging itself but what do i know :akkoshrug:

my newest ep is out now, putting it out myself on this new bandcamp page. the first fruits of making music regularly again for the first time in a while. if you like anything in the late nineties melodic "idm" canon you should dig at least some parts of this:

my newest ep is now available for preorder on my bandcamp, it was composed over the previous two years and was mastered by Anders Peterson, with artwork by myself. you can check out the first track and the full ep will be out on the next bandcamp friday (june 6th)

very honored to have a track of mine on this new comp, all profits go to the Lebanese red cross:

so i can reveal to you (courtesy a weird dream last night) that the new boards of canada album is called "eñorca", has got a dirty crt aesthetic as opposed to their usual light leaks on film aesthetic for the album cover and videos, and uncharacterstically has a whole lot of features including from Mr Bungle(?) and SZA(?)

full ost over there, what a beast it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ZLtiB9guTM

if fm synthesis is unparalleled for one thing it's video game scores. the falcom team, esp. Mieko Ishikawa and Yuzo Koshiro, are masters at it fr
