i feel like the left's characterisation of Israel (qua geopolitical institution)'s posture toward Palestine is a misrepresentation, and actually understates the acutenes of their actions. The tacit endorsement of settlers isn't their establishment of a vassal colony, it's a militia-facilitated de-facto invasion.

tasting notes: armchair #geopolitics , reducto-ad-absurdum

white nationalists insisting they're libertarian will never not be funny. The white nationalist proposition is that whiteness is an idea that's failing to survive in the marketplace of ideas and a national program of regulation must be enforced to suppress competition.

don't mind me just trying to exorcise the phrase "truckfucked" from my brain

I don't understand why watermarking AI content was an idea that had to come from outside the AI community, as a harm minimization control. Surely AI-gen content should be watermarked for AI companies' own benefit? For a company that backs its own product, content users generate with its services should be the front line of their advertising strategy. Let your success do the talking.

I may not be able to stay on this instance much longer as I'm being reported for posting "the largest taint by square inch ever recorded on the fediverse"

I am not able to see the posts in order to mount an appeal, but it is most likely because so many people don't like my pro-climate action politics I suspect.

the legacy of colonialism fucks inexorably onward
