what is andy thinking about these days, well,

Goodnight, sweet P

Really sad to hear that Patrick Stewart has passed away. TNG was a big part of my childhood, and he played Picard with resolute, communist, yet open-minded and cultured morality that took me, without a doubt, into a distant and civilised future that I will spend the rest of my life fighting for. Rest in peace.

imagine the feeling of being loved as much as patrick stewart. good night, sweet prince

*sagely* yep, you can lead thoughts to water, but you can't make 'em think

lol i have been implementing javascript for more than 15 years and i just learned that -7 % 7 equals... negative zero

lol it gets worse https://lordofthestrings.com/fr/accessoires/picks/dunlop-477r507-primetone-large-round-tip-5-0mm.html

what on earth do people do with 3mm-thick picks? must be like playing with a housekey

it is never appropriate to write "i asked an llm and this is what it said:"

either the listener uses llms, in which case they can use an llm on their side, or they don't want to use llms, in which case inflicting llm text on them is rude and inconsiderate

or rather, “not be excited about a world with more ai”

it must be incredibly annoying to live in san francisco and hate ai

Me looking at image parsers: I just know this a place of honor, commemorating highly esteemed deeds. I should dig in

incidentally. it is interesting to me that llms have not yet produced a good jit janguage implementation. counterexamples welcome fwiw (of course they are used extensively in the construction of the js runtimes)

it is still baffling to me that capitalism could fund three excellent jit runtimes for javascript but zero for python https://lwn.net/SubscriberLink/1102102/0c00e4d550f25f8c/
