So excited to announce this!

Today, the workers behind Dungeons & Dragons (I'm one of those!), Magic: The Gathering, Duel Masters, and more are coming together to unionize as part of United Wizards of the Coast - CWA!

This morning, the Dungeons & Dragons team and Magic's Studio X informed our leadership of our intent to unionize. We love the games we make and the work we do, and unionizing is how we protect that work.

We’re proud to follow in the footsteps of MTG Arena’s own union and have worked with them in preparation for today. Now, we get to share it with you all!

Curious how you can help? We ask that you sign our petition for Wizards to voluntarily recognize our union. The support for MTG Arena’s union was key to their victory, and we hope that you show the same support for us.

You can learn more about our mission on our website. Sign our petition, share it with your communities, and keep an eye on this account for future updates.

So I've only been on #hachyderm for a couple of days, but it's been a delight!

There are so many smart people with intriguing ideas here, but it doesn't feel intimidating or gatekeepy. I've read some articles about scaling and about running #mastodon instances, and I've discovered @nova's twitch streams as well, which have been super interesting.

My thanks to Nova and all her support team (who I still don't know yet) for all their work to make this place what it is! :blobfoxheartcute:

So I do an #introduction here, eh?

I'm Tanner, I'm based in #Seattle, and I do #infra and #ops-y work at Wizards of the Coast - mostly on #DnD Beyond!

I'm coming to hachyderm.io from mastodon.technology (which has closed down) (which I wasn't active on anyway), and with Twitter being on fire now as well, this is a fine time to say hi!

I like #coffee, #whiskey, #autumn, and #coziness in general.

And here's a slightly belated #caturday picture of my cat Kintsugi from this morning!
