In June, the conference Breaking the Code" took place at the University of Porto.

The Dutch Research Council turns commitment into action on open research information 🚀

From 1 January 2027, the Dutch Research Council (NWO) will end its Web of Science and Scopus subscriptions, using open alternatives such as @crossref and @OpenAlex when needed.

A strong example of a funder aligning its practices with its open science commitments.
