I have a Zojirushi NL-AAC10 rice cooker that recently went kaput on me. It randomly shuts off in a way that makes me feel either a battery is dying or a capacitor needs replacing. Either way I got an upgrade for Christmas and I think it would be really cool if someone was interested in reviving and keeping (or otherwise rehoming) my old one. Any takers? #diy #SomervilleMA #cambridgema #maker #repair
I'm solo-parenting this week, so I need a couple of good, low-effort #horror movies I can watch while I do chores after the kid goes down. Recommendations?
I bought an ASUS ROG laptop a while ago and I'm kind of sick of running Windows on it. It seems like the two #Linux distros that have the best support for ROG products are openSUSE and Fedora. So, Fediverse, which do I go with? I'm pretty comfortable with the grimier aspects of software/OSs, but I want something easy to set up/maintain. The look and feel of the OS also matters quite a bit (I'm down to do a little customization).
Hey you! I know you've often wondered "What if Bjork was in a heavy rock band?" Well I got good news for you, because I found it! https://gaupaband.bandcamp.com/track/febersvan
I just finished a batch of super-garlicy lacto-fermented relish and I have about a pint more than I can use. Would anyone in #SomervilleMA or #cambridgema be interested in taking it off my hands? It's super good on sausages and sandwiches.
Feel free to boost!
