anyone ever seen Chrome get clever with stripping content that it knows matches an HTTP-only cookie? (Safari and Firefox don’t do this and curl output is as expected)

*server maintenance -> spinning up an entirely new server and migrating the whole thing 😅

This latest PHP debacle is as good a time as any to do a bunch of server maintenance and I don’t like it one bit

This is annoyingly remedial, but I’m also very curious what China knows that they’re willing to pay out the nose for oil all of a sudden

Three rainy weekends in a row with a fourth in the extended forecast. We truly have angered the gods and must repent to our weather lords (cc @WEATHERISHAPPENING )

(Just want to say, I see you, and I appreciate you. Let’s gooooo!)

If this gets 100 boosts, I will actually say it the next time one of these bozos asks

“My situationship recently told me they’d date me more seriously if I was employed, so yeah that’s mainly why I’m interested in this open position at ${BoringCorp}”

I can feel myself doing that computer toucher thing where I retreat into the machine because it gives me some illusion of control

Sylvan Esso announced that they’re capitulating to the market and going back on Spotify. I’m having feelings about it after having been so proud of them for bowing out last year. Looking forward to the new album (which I’ll be purchasing, old school like the old man that I am)

I really have to update my avi; it’s been nearly two years since I started shaving my head

Over 1000 people have already applied (because the job market remains a fucking hellscape), and as we all know, that’s not nearly enough

Flock wants to collect lots and lots of data, and I think that if enough people re-toot this, we can help them with that

Flock is hiring a staff frontend engineer. I’m a highly qualified frontend engineer in dire need of work. But I won’t work for Flock. You shouldn’t either. It would be a shame if a bunch of people flooded them with bogus applications using readily available relevant resumes such as the one on my website (link in bio). That would be awful and bad. Anyway, here’s the listing on LinkedIn

My Google searches were returning absolutely cursed Gemini-slop TypeScript recipes, but I was able to determine that it was cribbing from this which looks slightly more sane
https://www.npmjs.com/package/yjs-types

If y’all are out here actually using AutoMerge instead just say so I guess

Anyone have any experience annotating their Yjs data with Typescript? I’m slowly figuring out some recipes, but overall very much not enjoying the process

Library is striking out. Do I know anyone in Connecticut lol?

Both Project Gutenberg and Annie’s Archive return fuck all

I’m probably going to ask my local library about contacting Yale about an inter-library loan of their video of Sekou Sundiata’s Blessing The Boats, but if anyone knows how/where I can find a copy of the text in the meantime…
