@emilymbender Hi Emily, (I'm Stephen) thanks for sharing the preprint, very illuminating reading so far. I previously heard about the ELIZA story through a 2016 BBC documentary by Adam Curtis called Hypernormalisation which I thought others in this thread might find interesting or at least entertaining. Here's a clip from it: https://youtu.be/84QouA9Sm4E
#Ardour users on #Linux have you ever successfully recorded an entire band (simultaneously, like an actual studio session) using Ardour? One common complaint I see from audio/gear heads on YouTube is that Windows (and by extension Linux) cannot be dependably used as a daily driver for professional session recording. I know of artists such as @unfa who do a lot of good solo work on Linux with Ardour, and I've seen countless solo and layering demonstrations on YouTube, but I haven't seen a demonstration of an actual session (not even a video using Mixbus, come to think of it). Could anyone please provide their two cents?
To anybody that still doesn't know:
CHRISTIANS DON'T BELIEVE THAT GENDER IS A SPECTRUM! CHRISTIANS BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE ONLY 2 SEXES! DON'T ACT SO SURPRISED WHEN I ACTUALLY SAY WHAT I PROFESS TO BELIEVE!
This is what I said that got him so riled up, by the way...
Friendly reminder that we Confessional Lutherans do not condone any theological positions of the LINO (Lutheran in Name Only) Tim Walz. Despite his German name and "let me just squeeze right past ya there" accent, I'm at least 4x more Lutheran than he, in confession alone.
Not that it's important, but how do I get Mastodon to say that my website or whatever is verified in my profile?
