Oh, fuck off.

I use #Argos because I trusted them. Now I've just realised they use 'trusted sellers', just like B&Q do, so basically just the same old crap they don't actually stock and can't really be trusted with.
Thanks, Argos, you just lost a sale.

Had a bit of a revelation last night:
I wrote the main character of Synthesis:Weave based on my own personality and how I think (arguably, all characters are, but this one is closest) so that means that Sebastian actually has ADHD.
So I've got not just one but TWO disabled characters.

It's been a few months since I started trying to get an ADHD diagnosis (short by most standards), and finally today had my second diagnostic assessment.
I've been diagnosed with ADHD combined (inattentive/hyperactive) type, which at least means the working-memory issues I have means I'm not suffering from early onset demential!

This Saturday is international wheelchair day, so if you're a disabled sci-fi fan and want books you can relate to, why not give the Synthesis:Weave novels a try?

Oh heck, I just made up a dad joke.

Q: What's a fisherman's favourite musical instrument?

A: Castanets.

I'll see myself out.

I didn't know that #FediBookFair was a thing.
I write scifi/space opera that blends scifi with a dash of fantasy. My Synthesis:Weave series features a disabled protagonist and a lot of planet-hopping.

For more info on each book and to buy (DRM free) see https://rexxdeane.com or my itch.io page.

My husband and I were on Gardeners' World the other night, taking viewers around our garden:

Telamon: The newfound life of exploration and discovery is torn away from Sebastian and Aryx. A research mission may lead to salvation, but disaster strikes. Can they survive, or will their grief lead to worse mistakes?

Afterglow: Conspiracies are everywhere, and uncovering them pushes the team to their limits. A moment of inattention leads to extreme illness for one of them. The cure may lead to the death of them all.

Synthesis:Weave: A cyber-security agent and disabled ex-marine investigate a bombing aboard their home station. But where do they start when the evidence magically disappears?
