Is anyone else just a bit sceptical about the latest British terrorism charges regarding the RAF base (hosting US bombers participating in the Iram war)?
Given "terrorism" has lost all meaning in the UK now they charge peaceful protestors with terrorism.
The individuals could very well be genuine terrorists, but the UK Govt can't charge protestors with terrorism and expect to be taken seriously anymore.
Another day, we discover rather unsurprisingly, another appalling thing Pauline Hanson said.
This time calling our First Nations people "the most primitive race on Earth".
Putting aside race being a social construct, she's woefully ignorant and it's really needless to say, utter racist nonsense.
This idea that our First Nations peoples are "primitive" was used by some of the worst eugenicists in our history as an argument for committing genocide against them.
This was Aus Gov policy until relatively recently, although many would argue it continues to this day. One example was the systematic forced removal of children from Indigenous parents to place them in non-Indigenous families ie "The Stolen Generation".

Pauline Hanson has again made clear her party's "welfare only for the deserving poor" a.k.a. eugenics policies.
I mean it's pretty standard for fascist political parties.
She said the PM's dead mum, who was a single mother and was on the DSP (Disability Support Pension) and lived in public housing, which was a good thing that our government did that back then (btw, she would likely no longer qualify for).

The implication being, only working people deserve public housing because they, and ONLY THEM are the "deserving poor". And that disabled people don't deserve public housing UNLESS they can work. AND EVEN THEN, that public housing term is finite especially if you don't "CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY".
That's eugenics people.

Australian governments will do anything to appear to do something to fix housing unaffordability than actually do anything to fix housing unaffordability.
So part of the reason for why the #NDIS was created in the first place was to bring the fragmented, disparate, unequal state based disability services under a nationally coordinated system.
However, now that the Govt is claiming it is funding people who aren't "disabled enough" it's going to unload some of its services back onto the states. Doing the complete antithesis of the reason for the creation of the NDIS in the first place.
Don't @ me about rorting of the system. Where there is Govt funding there are people ready to exploit it. Just look at aged care, or any public infrastructure project.
