It’s funny to me that The Thin Man (1934) and Friday the 13th (1980) kind of have something in common. Nick wasn’t the thin man and Jason wasn’t the main character but each film had multiple sequels that ignored those distinctions.

Are there any emacs modes for live posting with video? I know @sachac has some modes for controlling mpv.

It would be so cool to have a mode with an mpv buffer and a mastodon buffer, and some keybind that could automatically snag the past few seconds of video, make a GIF with captions, and attach it to a masto post.

I overheard someone mention that they were glad that I was taking the time to help a man at work. I asked why, and I found out that everyone has been sending people to me, for the reason that I never yell or raise my voice or express irritation with people.

Around the office I’m known as the guy you send the dumbest people to, when they’ve done something unforgivably stupid, because I don’t make them feel bad.

Is that something to put on my resume?
