One of the things I appreciate about the #Fediverse is just how _quickly_ scammers and scam accounts are slapped down.

@juergen_hubert Right??!

Shoutout to all the Fedi admins out there 👍🙏💐💗💖

Well well well… “isn’t that special“ 👏🏼👏🏼

Smoky, my magnificent Domestic Blue four year-old male cat, flaunting an ominous claw-filled paw, while stretching on a very foggy October morning. 🐈‍⬛

Looking for #disabled people who want a friendship and someone who doesn't mind me popping into their DMs regularly. In terms of #disabilities, I have juvenile #lupus and kidney failure which is a result of it. I also have #LongCovid, #diabetes, #cerebralpalsy, #AuDHD, #osteoporosis, and a slew of #mentalhealth diagnoses. I use oxygen, 24/7 oxygen user due to Long Covid as well as a full time wheelchair user. A boost would mean alot. #introduction #newhere

@mekkaokereke I don't laugh at racist jokes and if the person insist, I ask them to explain the joke to me. Usually it works and the person stop making rscist comments when I'm around.

Watching this evening's documentary on the Aberfan disaster, its already clear (half way through) that like later scandals (right up to recent years) a consistent theme is the absolute disdain the political class have for normal people.... from lies to condescension and inhumanity, the political class just see normal people as a nuisance.

What is also notable is that the media seem(ed) a lot more sceptical of the political class that they do now!
