Hey Fediverse, does anyone know a site that lists CSS properties by the time they entered baseline compatibility? Not the exciting ones no browser supports yet. The ones you can actually use in modern stylesheets. I'm looking for better ways to stay up-to-date and not lose track of new options.
Considering accessibility and the `<details>` elements: Is it okay to update the `<summary>` element on the fly based on the values of a nested form? And if yes, should this update be announced to screen readers? I've been trying to research this but my search result only return auto-generated garbage 😔
Apperently, MDN launched an "AI Help". I tried it using one of the suggested questions "How to center a div with CSS?". MDN, are you seriously thinking this is a good idea? This is bullshit! Sure, the answer suggests to use `flex` or `grid` and then **does not use it in its answer**. But we get a lime-coloured div – hooray!
PS: This is how you center a `div` by the way. You can find it on MDN: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Layout_cookbook/Center_an_element 🙄
This is a seriously great case-study how to implement a dark/light mode switcher progressively: https://www.darins.page/articles/progressively-enhanced-dark-mode
