As someone who used the Acme theme for quite a while, this resonated.

I've now started a light/dark theme combo for Emacs, tentatively called "Fjord". It follows the principles outlined in the blog post. The dark theme is based on Nord, and the light theme (using background, not foreground color) is based on South (https://github.com/SophieBosio/south).

Gonna use this as a daily driver for a while before releasing it.
