I am very amused right now watching the IP addresses scroll down my terminal at a trickle pace...
my temporary server is redirecting them all back to their own ip address XD

apparently a very long time because i just did a search on my domain name and my old activitypub account is still there. - last post in aug of 2020.
does anyone know how long #activitypub servers remember you?
after quite some time i have decided try to tinkering with some networking again (using the same domain i used before.)
just now while i was in the middle of doing some research i suddenly got a post fediverse request to my temporary python server. XD
sorry - needed to say it.
I am working with my Sauce code stuff and idk, I just got annoyed at the fact that I can't be like "please point a floating point number here that is exactly 32bits in size"
I think how the #CCompilers work with types is rather confusing, especially #FloatingPoints .
there are so many different floating point types and we get to select from
- 'float'
- 'double'
- 'long double'
and none of them are garanteed to be the same sizes across all the C compilers and not to mention there are 128bit floating point numbers that you can't even use because there is no type for that.
at least for integers there are (u)int<s>_t types but even those aren't defined by the compiler.
I hate bring correct sometimes.
sometimes I want to make an assumption and be wrong but everytime I've made an assumption so far with stupid people in mind, I am never surprised but always disappointed.
ok let's try again ... ubuntu will get into AI stuff and then get backlash before removing it like what happened with the amazon thing and the search results.
(please let me be wrong!)
I wonder how I will make a "molten rock" planet without it falling apart :calculator:
it looks like Parfeimoze and parfeimus successfully move past each other in orbit, adding the outermost planet now "Parfeimill" the ice planet, and then I'll just let that run gor a bit before I at the innermost planet "Parfeimate".
(Species #Birgot ) (Star-system #Parfeim ) (Galaxy #Par ) (Planet #Parfeimate (absent)) (Planet #Parfeimoze (present)) (Planet #Parfeimus (present)) (Planet #Parfeimill (absent))
#Enclosure #Vivarium
containing #Spiders #Isopods (not shown: Flies, Snails, Springtails, Millipedes, Centipedes, Assasin Bug, Worms, caterpillar, others?)
so far so good.
introduction of the cellar spiders is an attempt to control the fly population (especially the small ones that can get through the enclosure ceiling grate.) but it's a Work in progress.
$Physics is a CollisionShape3D and so $Physics.shape should be of type Shape3D not 'null instance'.
I have no idea what is going on.
#programming #godot #gdscript #help
`$Physics.shape = mesh.create_trimesh_shape()`
results in error
`Invalid assignment of property or key 'shape' with value of type 'ConcavePolygonShape3D' on a base object of type 'null instance'.`
...
I don't understand what your trying to tell me godot.
there will also be something like a type checking later but not actually type.
think how an assembly register might work, it doesn't care what the actual type is as long as it's the same size, my variables will be like that 2.
we will statically assign a structure with specific sizes.
then we can accept anything that has the same structure and size.
tomorrow i will begin to work on actually running the code of #Fauxon , i believe that is normally called 'evaluation'.
the programming might eventually get compiled to binary but for now it will be interpreted, as i don't currently know machine code.
you also might wonder where the separaters are ... well there isn't any.
hypothetically if TestFunction1's result was another function then you could just call it immediately.
this functionality was particularly troublesome when i tried to use the traditional parsing methods, since a label here can be defined and called in 1 go.
those who are wondering.
the '>' separates the individual pseudo-statements.
the first one creates a function called `TestFunction1` that accepts parameters `A` and `B` and outputs `C`.
the second one calls that function passing it the parameters `10` and `11` then the result goes into the variable `TestResult1` (should be 21).
#Programming #NewLanguage ( #Fauxon )
it's not professional ... but it does parse. :)
