it would be so nice to finally be rid of linux as anything but a client system mainly for games and work

if i just had something i was happy with for managing virtual machines under netbsd i would have linux gone from my home server stack's bare hardware within the week

i have done netboot and nfsroot with it before, but it is really sluggish...

i would post a NetBSD/vax dmesg but my vax's scsi emulator died so that's going to have to wait until i can replace or repair it

in my past 10 years of using Debian derivatives, i have had many an apt dist-upgrade go wrong

in my past 10 years of using NetBSD, i can't remember ever having had a sysupgrade go wrong

that it has as good support as it does is, frankly, astounding. but it will not know what to do with your gaming rig or laptop made in the last 5 years

for all the positive things i've said about NetBSD over the years

i have never claimed it to have good GPU support

i went to microcenter because they sent me a coupon for a free 128gb flash drive and also i needed some other things. but then i found the other things and they were too expensive. so i looked around to see if there was anything else i needed and all of that was also too expensive. so i just got some bawls and my free flash drive
