i miss the national parks. i miss Pedernales Falls and Rock Creek Park and that place in North Carolina i only remember by its highway exit. i miss the crisp white snow on the ground in winter. i miss driving with the window down as the wind whips through the cabin and the sun shines on my tattoos. i miss the feeling of open space, that i could drive for hours and get further and further from a city, that i could get lost in the wilderness where not a single soul could find me.

3) I am an infosec expert with a lot of experience reviewing C/C++ source code but I am open to tangentially related roles like malware analysis or optimization analysis, I'd like something fresh

4) I am an intermediate reader of Chinese who is constantly studying, improving, and interested in a role where being able to read Chinese is helpful.

Also I don't know if it's obvious to folks, but fedi can't be a global town square. Attempting to do it is a fool's errand. Architecturally it doesn't work. The infrastructure to do it requires a kind of global consensus which fedi (activitypub specifically) does not have.

A better analogy is that fedi has some very large cities and many more small towns. This mirrors the real world, where big cities aren't for everyone but many people pass through big cities at least a couple times in their life.
