Happy Devil's Night! Oct 30 is the night that "The Crow" was based on.

I watched this movie first when I rented it while working at a Hollywood Video in 1996. I was 16 years young. I had mostly forgotten about it until a few years ago when I rediscovered it.

A dark, violent, gothic themed story about seeking justice in the face of a horrific personal tragedy. It's definitely not for everyone...but if you can stomach it, it provides a happy ending. 🐦‍⬛ 🌕 🔥 💍

The most valuable benefit of AI is that it might help us better understand what it means to be human.

Time to unwind with a little detective work!

Still looking for a good deal on an SVGA CRT monitor... don't judge ;)

Some awesome live electronica happening right now 😎 🌀

I have a backup of my old dial-up BBS that ran from 1996-2001, so I fired it up the other day on the old Pentium system I've been playing with 😎

"Is that gasoline I smell?"

#meshcore communities are pretty rad. I like how there are many "Good mornings" in the Public (and other hashtag) channels. I get the feeling of *very* early Internet, and small BBS communities with MeshCore right now.

I'm a system/network engineer, but not a skilled developer. I also have a very limited budget to move this forward.

I'm looking anyone willing to help stabilize Subjam's codebase and release it as open-source.

"Scene" groups need to be built.

I want to federate the platform, so anyone on the Fediverse can use it easily and it can integrate with other Fedi networks.

Looking for anyone who may have the capacity to help me realize this project in any way!

With AI infiltrating every corner of the Internet for their own gain, now apparently including scraping published podcasts, is the only solution to start forming closed, private and firewalled communities online?

For all you "Office Space" fans who also hate AI...

Kitchen sinks should have foot-pedals for water control, don't you think?

Sometimes I stare at my ceiling for long periods of time and start to visualize stuff in the texture.

I drew this without looking at the paper, but at the ceiling... or more specifically this duck looking back at me.

When I was 8 (1988) I was introduced to arcade games, and Double Dragon was the first one I played at a local pizza place.

20 years later I fulfilled a dream I'd had since and bought an original cabinet from an eBay auction, and fully restored it. New monitor & control panel, wood filler, paint and so much else! Labor of love.

Just yesterday I replaced the JAMMA connector to the PCB (lots of soldering!) and was able to play it again for the first time in a while.

This feels like peak #cyberpunk ... Cheers to the state of Washington for banning companies from microchipping their employees. But holy $&@*...

As a species, how have we advanced so dramatically in a TECHNOLOGICAL sense, yet our ETHICAL evolution is all but absent... or even receding? Makes me sick.
