Every once in a while, YouTube pulls something out of its archive that is laser-focused on me. https://youtu.be/8MLDT5-ZgN0

@vga256 I had a hankering to go back through some Betrayal at Krondor memories earlier, so: thank you for keeping the Help Web available!

There’s a part of me that is tempted to take a week off just to play old text/ASCII-art-based adventure games and RPGs.

I saw this wall decoration on a for-rent ad for a local office space and my soul immediately shriveled up and died.

I think this means they’re cat-married now. #catsofmastodon

Don’t tell @casey, but, while she’s in the other room, I’m going to swap out her birthday-movie choice for the TNG episode “Sub Rosa”.

My goblin-night conversation tonight reminded me of the "glory" that is Dragon Lore: The Legend Begins. I always love how the hubris of putting a subtitle like "The Legend Begins" in your first game absolutely guarantees you will never get a sequel.

It’s eternally weird to me that the currency in this game is “sovereigns” and “royals”, abbreviated “s” and “r”, but then you get loot in “gold” and “silver”, abbreviated “g” and “s”, creating an immediate impediment.

Oh no, I might have to re-re-re-re-play Betrayal at Krondor now. https://youtu.be/tFk5iebLb_A

I’m in a real “man, I wish Betrayal at Krondor had ushered in a flourishing CRPG sub-genre” mood. https://youtu.be/q95bJ6bEB2w

I’m pleased as punch to find this new gameplay video of Shadow of Yserbius, one of the trio of nigh-identical games I used to play on The Sierra Network/INN: https://youtu.be/abs1wvGsZmY

This isn’t the one I had in mind, but I have to post this pre- #Caturday photo of little baby Lethe. She’s been letting me scratch her sacred tummy fluff and has been snore-purring for half and hour.

Hot take: the TNG episode "Masks" is fine, actually.

Imagine being at one of the Pulse concerts where the Pink Floyd rump state played Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety. I’m tempted to pee my pants just in retrospect.

Our weird son. #CatsOfMastodon

What kind of psychopath would want this from a web page?

I snapped a not-bad picture of our bad orange cat Chara.
