There's a good chance the record temperature for the region will be broken this week. NB, it was set at the *end of July* 2019. So here we are a month earlier:
#Meteo-France forecast for the week ahead - SE Normandy:

Astonishing evening weather forecast yesterday by Meteo-France.
What was said:
• Entering the unknown
• Never seen before in the history of our data.
• All of France under a 'Heat Dome'.
• Would be unusual for July.
• We can’t forecast what’s coming, because data models have never seen this before.

First Swifts of the year arrived this morning. We usually have ~8 nests under the eaves of our house (+ doves pigeons sparrows)
Temps ~23°c - 24°c over next days in SE Normandy, so their ~20,000Km trip is timed accordingly.
Swift numbers are plummeting, like so many birds/animals. BTO: 68% decrease 1995-2023. We're having work done on the outside of the house this year, so I'm going to install quite a lot of boxes. It all helps.

I’m looking for a little help about dealing with the seemingly mass attack of Russian bots. What's the best way of handling this?
I report this Russian propaganda as 'Something Else' and bookmark a post, so that I can later see if the account is still running, then I block the account. I also leave the checkbox on, for the server itself to receive my report
Many accounts are not suspended

Ooooh!!!
Just image if the totally corrupt, moral vacuums that are the GOP, released *un-redacted* files! Party time for power-collapse!

It's hard to imagine how *dumb* supposedly intelligent people can be. How much is it costing to deal with floods, now and in the future + heatwaves + droughts?

SE Normandy.

Anyone else seeing a rise in Russian propaganda posts?
I always report them, but something else is going on in the last few days.
There are multiple identical posts, close together in my timeline, but from different accounts/servers. I try to Report/Block and sometimes I can't, because the account is already suspended *however* even when my blocks are accepted, the posts are still there in my timeline.
Some serious hacking going on here.
AI = junk?
Interesting to see real-world examples.
