somebody on another network suggested using php2shell rce to patch vulnerable servers and i'm thinking this guy is the hero we need.

the bad news is the other nine questions.

this is mostly a sweep for 'yes'. although the splits are in the fifties-to-forties. smith-and-co are going to parade this around as a 'mandate' to do some foot-stomping and hair-pulling at the feds.

however, there are some caveats.

the takeaway:
a 75/25 is a really good split and counts as a landslide by any reasonable metric. it's a sufficiently large enough victory to rebut future efforts for a while.

tomorrow i will be sending a registered letter to 'take back alberta' informing them that their services are no long required and they have 90 days to vacate the country.

that's the good news.

everyone does realize that concert tickets are so expensive because we pay borderline nothing for recorded music now, right?

get in loser, we’re european now.

did you know that if you turn up the volume on your tv the actors will read the close captioning out loud to you?

a watched pot never boils, but an unwatched pan absolutely burns.

salsa weekend is done.

dear clacton, do not fuck this up.

when america burns, canada sends help. when canada burns, america sends mean tweets.

ten bucks some stampede yahoo drank 20 coors tall boys at “breakfast” and drove his f150 into a transformer.

power is out for the whole block but i’ve got 36% in the phone and a gas stove. basically a prepper.

it is stampede, so if you’re driving in calgary, remember there are a lot of people in town right now who only ever see a stop sign once a year and that is now.

in 1995 i had the honour of taking part in a canada day parade.

we were on tour and had stopped in some small bc town for gas and, on the way out, scott just decided to drive around some traffic barriers because, y'know, punk. we made a left onto the main drag and found ourselves behind a float of 20 sikh guys dancing bhangra. wasn't until the crowd started making noise that we realized we were in the parade.

drove the whole damn route. got sandwiches at the end. five stars, would recommend.

being smug is not going to win you anything. people will not think you are cool or witty or smart. trust me. i've been a vegan, linux-using, bicycle-commuting atheist almost my entire adult life. i know what this ride looks like and where it goes. take your foot off the gas.

look, just because you can build a spec-equivalent steam box thing for fifty bucks less doesn't mean it's 'bad' or 'stupid'. you're just not the target market. the amish can build their own furniture but ikea's still doing just fine.

"well, that's 70,000 tokens i'm never going to get back"
- this subcontractor for client one on the phone right now.

i just called “4-d chess” a “chesseract”.

please clap.

we can make fun of the kids and their whole 'six/seven' thing, but i'm legit in a gaming group of fifty-something year-old geriatric punk rockers right now and everyone is yelling "whazzzuuup".
