⚠️ PSA - Hello, Tor relay operator.
If you're running an old Tor relay or bridge on the 0.4.8.x series, please upgrade to 0.4.9.x as soon as possible.
Starting in September, the 0.4.8.x series will be dropped from the Tor network. Relays and bridges still on it will stop working.

A new report from Turkmen.news brings an update on the degradation of connectivity across the country.

If you have spare bandwidth or available servers, please consider running Snowflake proxies.
We urgently need more Snowflake proxies to help handle this surge and ensure that users can continue to access the open Internet.

Hi, we're investigating where Tor and Tor Pluggable Transports are not working in Iran, by ISP and region. 🙏
If you can, please share info using this form: https://nc.torproject.net/apps/forms/s/BXMCJD66Zyzjg5qgmBsJNqDa
Or if you want to share non-public information about censorship, my GlobaLeaks address is: http://7bxa7jwuksm2iusobp3wxuwrw4akxgw2vn3vphyl6bwxvrnwec6rlsqd.onion/

It seems Tor Pluggable Transports (obfs4, WebTunnel and Snowflake) are working again in #Iran.
Please run a bridge or snowflake proxy and help censored users to connect to the free and open internet. #censorship #tor

Notably, IRBlock identified 6.8M IPs subjected to DNS poisoning and HTTP blockpage injection, and 5.4M IPs subjected to UDP-based traffic disruption. "

The Scam Empire is based on two sets of internal data obtained from the call centers: about 1.14 terabytes from Georgia and 765 gigabytes from the Israeli/European operation.
The data was leaked by an anonymous source:
“By turning over the material to the media, I/we hope this issue gets enough attention for authorities to take action against these criminals. This problem is not impossible to solve. We all just need to care enough to do something about it.”
