Years ago I followed Physics Girl on Twitter, and I remember her getting Covid (mild) and then Long Covid. She posted less and less and finally had to stop. Her desperation was palpable. She now estimates she's functioning at 30-40% of her former capacity. There are 1 million Americans who cannot work because of Long Covid. Don't get Covid. It is not 'just a cold.'
Did the new Mastodon 5.0 implement an #algorithm? I am now seeing posts from people I do not follow.

* This shooter and Hegseth both want violence and war. They both get what they want out of this execution.
* Lots of news that Netanyahu knew about the upcoming Hamas attack and told nobody. Both Netanyahu and Hamas wanted violence and war, and got it.
* Putin agrees to sell oil to the US, knowing Ukraine will be bombing oil facilities and ships. Putin and the US want violence and war.

I think we're getting a clearer view of who Carney is and how he intends to govern: by force, fuck consultation, corporate giveaways galore, and secretively.
Most Canadians can relate to this:
