The new Apple HomeView ad completely stresses me out and makes me NOT want to buy it.

Looks who’s 9! 🥳 #dogsofmastodon

iPhone 18 Pro is $1200. iPhone Duo is $2000. That's only $800 more, and as you can tell by the name, you are literally getting a second phone. Get it, Duo? That means two. You're saving $400.

Well this is disappointing.

Eugene usually tries to avoid the camera but I swear every once in a while he purposely hams it up for us. #dogsofmastodon

Particularly problematic are, of course, iot devices. I have them on a separate network and had intended to block liberally but never got around to it. Pi-hole confirms how much they phone home, with Aqara cameras so far being one of the worst offenders. #pihole

Finally got Pi-hole running in front of my network and good lord it’s wild/frustrating to see all the garbage traffic 2026 devices and software send. Will need to tweak over time, but right now over the first 12 hours 17% of traffic being blocked as garbage. #pihole

omg he’s side sleeping like a human! #dogsofmastodon

There’s something so cute about when Eugene has all his feet together when he sleeps. 🥹 #dogsofmastodon

Sleepy melon head 😅 #dogsofmastodon

According to Eugene there’s no such thing as “too many pillows”. #dogsofmastodon

Look at this distinguished gentleman. Look at the way he is sitting. Yesss, very distingushed, mmm hmm I see… #dogsofmastodon

Enjoying the breeze and temperate weather in Chicagoland today. #dogsofmastodon

I’ve found some genuinely interesting people and topics to follow on Mastodon that I doubt I ever would have found on other networks. I dunno if it’s just a bias toward like minded folks or the nature of the Fediverse in general, but it’s been such a pleasant, calm way to stay connected. 💜🐘 #mastodon #fediverse

Man I love this. You have skills. People in your community have needs. You help them, they help you. I gotta look into organizing something like this (if it doesn’t already exist)! 👏

A peaceful potato. 🥔 #dogsofmastodon

“These are my pillows.” #dogsofmastodon

Sleepy smoosh. #dogsofmastodon

There’s a potato baking in my window. 🥔 ☀️ #dogsofmastodon

IT’S JUST A BAD ANGLE OK #dogsofmastodon
