I should be a,lowed to convert mass to energy and back whenever I want

I mean yeah of course I take my showers at randomized times to prevent correlation

absolutely baffled by this random-ass probably-spam number from berlin that’s been repeatedly calling me the last few weeks, *always* when I’m taking a shower. at this point I’m starting to feel like there’s something supernatural going on

but when will the most important website of all, about:blank, get a dark theme

pro tip: if you implement knuth–plass yourself you can actually get badness values over 10000

every time i use apple ibooks i’m just baffled by the remarkably poor typesetting. limitations of epub aside, surely they could put in the effort to use a better line breaking algorithm than whatever that is, in a *reading app*??

i like when a github repo starts with a brief project description and then directly goes to curl straight into bash

sometimes i sort of feel like, even if they never say it explicitly, that the big money tech industry has reached a level of pretentiousness where they try to equate themselves to be as fundamental and omnipotent as basic geometry

modern tech companies will literally spend 9000 million dollars on designing a logo and then write a 9000-word blog post about their philosophy on the logo change and you look at it and it’s just a circle

how the hell were people meowing before then

don’t know what to make of my desk fan needing, like, a bump before it starts actually turning. you can turn it on and it doesn’t move. you have to hit it on the side. how do electric motors work again

“Native Instruments”
(look inside)
com.github.Electron.framework

maybe once ai destroys the internet as prophesied by famous table-top role playing game cyber punk we can get software developers to think about making software that only connects to the internet when it really needs to instead of saasing at you all the time

getting increasingly confused by steam deck lately. why does it need to do a “shader pre-caching update” for like five games every single week. why does it need to validate silksong every time i close it. why does half the ui randomly hate you if you try to use the touchscreen. why are there so many updates all the time!!!! stop!!!

the steam client really sets the bar for terrible mac apps like none other. it just hates cooperating with any system features to a degree that’s actually baffling. are they using some kind of low-level private api to create these windows?? why is the menu bar sometimes non-responsive. what is going on in there

why does kde wayland empty the clipboard when you quit the application you copied it from. it’s so rude

sigh… blender snake hook brush… youre the only one who can save me

french people when theyre using an ordinator

sometimes you can live your life, mentally prepending gnu/ to every word due to it being inexplicably funny somehow

so is a person who uses golang, according to its interface naming conventions, called a goer? :v

i still can’t get over stringer
