These must be kept or it’ll be even easier for some to sweep this shameful part of our country’s history aside.

What sense does it make to constantly demand that governments cut what little fuel taxes there are—why not instead suggest an emergency measures regulation limiting big petro’s profit margins and markups? Cutting fuel taxes barely saves us money on gas, and ultimately only cuts government revenues while the petro companies make money hand over fist.

Oh, wait, right… PP definitely isn’t going to suggest that.

For years now, the Yukon has barely had enough energy production to cover its needs, let alone as the territory grows. Stop-gap solutions have mainly been rented diesel generators.
