This is your yearly reminder to watch Children of Men if you haven't seen it yet (Or even if you have). It takes inspiration from 1984, The Transporter, Logan's Run. It is similar to The Road, V for Vendetta, Station Eleven. It has some impressive multiple minute long takes, the attack on the car in the forest is intense AF, the characters, acting, set design and effects are great. It's definitely in my top 5 movies of all time. #movies

Please Nolan, just hire a screenwriter. Get someone else to do the casting and cut the acting budget so that they have to get up and coming actors who I haven't seen before. Add some women, more people of colour. It was meant to be set in the Mediterranean but almost everyone has an American accent and most people are white.

Great analysis of The Odyssey and the Christopher Nolan style across a few movies. He can't write women and removes their agency. Every main character in his movies is the same man just picked up and dropped into the new movie, no changes. He rewrote the classic tale into a shambles of action movie scenes, totally missing the point. I hated Matt Damon as the main character, he is too recognisable, it pulled me out of every scene he was in. #movies

Ok, new new plan: The US can vote for whoever they like, but millionaires get Logan's Runned if they get over $100 million. #eattherich

I've spent way too much of my life birding, I've missed many births, weddings, and funerals. I should have been there for them. Lots of egrets.

Well that was the last The Late Show with Stephen Colbert episode. I'm sure he will make appearances on other things, but I've loved watching it over the years. Colbert is smart, quick witted, and has great timing, exactly what we needed for the last two decades. I'll miss him and the show. Jimmy Kimel says to boycott CBS. Easy, Colbert was the only good thing they had. #colbert

This is cool, good find. I like the variety. Any D20's? I've got game night coming up. #native #indigenous

Ok new plan: The rest of the world gets to vote for the US president instead.
