Well. Pulled the trigger tonight and installed Graphene OS @GrapheneOS on my Pixel 6a. Remarkably, stupidly easy in case you are wondering. So far so good. Phone, texting and browsing working perfectly. Having tried Android Auto yet but it is supposed to work after some tweaking.
