This works way better than I could possibly have expected! Now I have both networks on a single device.

Dual-booting a microcontroller, what a time to be alive!

Galerinha de Terrae Brasilis, tem alguém por aqui que dê aulas de inglês remotamente (preferencialmente inglês britânico), e com experiência com pessoas de mais idade (60+)?

Agradeço a quem puder dar boost.

HOLY FUCK I just tried to type "return" and somehow "treurn" came out.

I only have one brain, how the fuck are my fingers getting into a race condition?!

"End-to-end encrypted"

But who's on the other end?

WHO'S ON THE OTHER END MOTHERFUCKER?!!

Random reminder (for no particular reason) that this thermostat is absolutely amazing, it's cheap, has OpenTherm support, integrates beautifully with Home Assistant, and will continue to function 100% even if your internet is down or the company behind it disappears.

Laptop stickers updated!

I don't understand the hate against GPT. I think it's a great technology, and definitely a step in the right direction. Of course there are those who will resist it, but we should all accept it's here to stay.

For example, having a backup copy of the partition table at the end of the disk greatly increases the chances of being able to recover from disk corruption at the first few sectors of the disk.

...chatbot? What chatbot?

Thinking of testing GrapheneOS on the P8P now that I finished moving everything to the new phone.

#KOreader on the Kobo has the option to use #WebDAV, which means I can connect it to #Nextcloud and transfer books/manga wirelessly.

Hurray for open standards!

In related news, I may or may not have ordered a display-less node with a 6dBi antenna... 😁

Once it arrives, it'll become the fixed node in the attic, and the V3 will live in my bag as a mobile node. Curious to see what the network looks like in London. #Meshtastic

The power and reach of mesh networks is scary!
Even with just the teeny-weeny antenna that came with my Heltec V3, hidden away in the attic, Meshtastic is picking up nodes up to 7 km away (directly) and up to 150 km with 3 or 4 hops.

what if I.. host a fedi server.. on an old phone .. aha ha, just kidding..
unless..?

Ayyyy I got Docker installed and running with systemd on #PostMarketOS on the OnePlus One, now the sky (and armv7 image support) is the limit!

If X11 is so great why is there no X12? Checkmate!

This is kinda cool to watch.

The thread unroll functionality in @trunksapp is just beautiful.

Redoing the intro since new account:
My name is antsu (not really), I'm 30-something years old, married and a dad, and I pretend to know how to manage IT infra for a living.
My interests are anime, technology, and despite not playing much I'm also a sucker for rhythm games.
I have a tiny homelab where I #selfhost a few services, and also play with RPis and Arduinos in my (rare) spare time.
I'm from Brazil (HUE) but have been living abroad for a while now.
