“A coming of age story about freedom, debt, and a bike.”
We are doing a group ride to the only Boston-area screening of this new indie film featuring a bicycle as a symbol of personal agency and economic independence (+ a video Q&A with the director and lead actor)!

Despite the somber news out of Cambridge, it is still lovely to have new separated bike lanes on Broadway, providing safer rides and pedestrian crossings from Harvard Square to Kendall Square!
To celebrate or just be with the community, join @cambbikesafety and the @bostoncyclistsunion for a mini group ride on Sunday, September 20th, at 11—we'll meet up at Galaxy Park, ride to the other end of Broadway, and then have a picnic in Joan Lorentz Park (in front of the Cambridge main library)!

Last time I wrote about Rep. Decker, it was about the 130 different lobbyists who donated to her campaign.
This time I'm diving into the time she repeatedly lied to the public, and explaining _why_ she did it: the way she views her job as a public official.
“Mayor [Wu] also announced a group of eight advisers [...] to determine how to adjust and improve the city’s so-called Streets Cabinet’s operations”

Join the Massachusetts Vision Zero Coalition for a vigil honoring the life of Louisa Gag and calling for immediate, urgent action to create safer streets for all.
Hear from those who worked and partnered with Louisa about her profound impact as a transportation leader and cherished colleague. Then join us in demanding changes to help prevent further deaths from traffic violence.
The Boston Streets Cabinet has surprised us with the first new micromobility lane in Boston protected by a cast-in-place concrete “Better Buffer”! Join @bostoncyclistsunion to celebrate this step toward safer streets at Better Bagels (at Congress St. & High St.) on Sunday, July 19th, at 11:30! Details at bcu.bike/better-buffers-and-bagels
Take your own route to meet us on Congress St., or join the Boston Café Bikers to tour the new lanes before our celebration – linktr.ee/BosCafeBikers

This was just for fun, but in case you missed it, I am also preparing to bike FROM BOSTON TO MONTRÉAL to raise money for the Boston Cyclists Union!
Our Mayor has stalled street safety projects for OVER A YEAR, and the BCU is one of the top groups fighting for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders!
Please support if you can🙏 https://secure.qgiv.com/event/bostreal2026/account/2277081/
Midnight Marathoned again yesterday!
Huge thank you to everyone who helped me through it: Bos/tréalers, Boston Café Bikers, The Protomen, Banners, FantomenK, Huntr/x, Deep Cut, Atsuko Asahi, and Caravan Palace 😄
