Presentation by Johnny van Doorn about discovering statistics using JASP.

JASP is an open source replacement for IBM’s SPSS.

It has integration with OSF Open Science Framework. He even worked on a JASP book with Andy Field, famous for his SPSS book. See https://jasp-stats.org for more information.

Very pleased with my 9 year old 12" Apple MacBook running MX Linux and everything working: sound, microphone, bluetooth, displaylink for external displays, and even the camera which is somewhat specific on this model. It doesn't feel old or slow at all!

Nice review and also helpful for people who are considering to leave iOS/iPhone. Thanks for sharing your considerations and experiences @antonio.

I was in the same place but decided to go and try the new Jolla Phone with SailFish OS (ordered, not yet delivered) which is probaby a bit more difficult to get used to. It's great that we have more options than iOS/Android.

Today I took further steps to get rid of big tech. I closed my Microsoft Account (hadn´t used it in a very long time, but anyway..). And downgraded my iCloud account, that I still use for my iPhone, from 50GB to the free 5GB. I moved most files offline to an external drive.
