It must have been all the kind words 🫂❤️, we had a lovely evening tonight. Skye was feeling really great, hopping and bright and hungry. 🩵

Cutting her lettuce, bok Choi and dandelions into narrow ribbons (like noodles!) allows her to eat without difficulty when meds are running low at the end of the night! She’s always been able to eat grass and I figured I’d experiment and sure enough it helps! Hope this helps someone else out who might have a bun down the road with some dental pain. ❤️

We had a heavy vet visit today, but we carry on, even if our hearts are unbearably heavy and sore.

Skye has had a good morning and a good afternoon and is wrapped in love and pain free and happy. She was hoping for a bit of grape when I took this pic 🍇😏.

Skye is one of the first to use the new Tramadol protocol based on a paper that recently come out. As is often the case she is at the forefront of medical care for buns, and her example will help many others at our clinic and beyond. ❤️

I have changed my point of surveillance (you have to really look for me, I’m well hidden :bmjwink: ) and have some concerns BunDad and Sitara may be slacking some today despite the extra work I assigned- I will be following up with them later… 😏 #SkyeLove

My meddies have really helped my pain 🥰. It will take a few days to get over this super sleepy feeling while my body adjusts, so I’ve assigned Sitara some extra hands-on tasks (with covert snoopervision, of course) at Thirring while I relax. #SkyeLove

We’ve had a rough few days and several vet visits for Skye. Skye’s got some new pain for her degenerative dental condition. Unfortunately surgery isn’t an option for her or we would do it in a heartbeat.💔

Instead we are doing everything we can to keep our girl happy, pain free, and loving life. Every moment is, as always, deeply cherished and we are leaving no stone unturned for pain management. (We will even be seeking an acupuncture referral❤️)

Here are two cheeky moments from tonight. 🥰

Skye is presenting a little OHS refresher this morning after some recent mishaps in the Thirring lab. #SkyeLove #SitaraLove

Skye! Skye! I’ve had a problem with the gravitic modulator coil. Halp!

We are very thankful for all our friends this Thanksgiving 🇨🇦❤️.

Sharing some fall colours for you from our family’s maple tree 🍁🧡💛❤️

BunMum gave me a new compressed hay clump to work on 🥰. (Please don’t mind my hair, I couldn’t do a thing with it today!) -Sitara✨#SitaraLove #SnackTimeSaturday

Thinking of our beloved friend and Skye’s sisfur Violet today and always. :violet:🕯️💜

We have so shared many great times together-
especially laughs and commiserating over the limitations of humans..

She was always available for leadership advice or when a good lawyer was needed in a hurry… she also helped me oversee the esteemed Order of the Short Ears. So many memories.💜

(Photo below is from years ago during a quick conference call.💜)

Love you Violet @ADailyViolet , we miss you so much.💜

It looks like that week is finally behind us ❤️

While Sitara chugs meds I’m helping play Minecraft with my cousin (BunMum’s nephew) 🥰. -Skye 🩵 #SkyeLove

Hoppy #InternationalRabbitDay, friends 🥰
A very good day indeed. ❤️ -Sitara #Sitaralove

⚠️ Kissing may be slightly delayed in the kissing booth this Saturday morning due to the kisser taking a robust hour nap ❤️

I tried to stop BunMum from sliding out of bed this morning by suddenly flopping against her leg 😏. It almost worked but she said it was her turn to go to her vet and she couldn’t stay. #BunnyButtFriday #SitaraLove

🍂 Hoppy #WhiskersWednesday!🍂
