in San Jose:
St James Park wasn't big enough for all the people last time.
Today? I want to say 1/3 as many.
Is 87 degrees too hot in October?
It bloody well is, but "sunshine patriots & summertime soldiers" could do better.

As ever, I thought 'Where are the people under 40?'
A couple of good signs:
[image of unPresident] "Does this Ass Make our Country Look Small?"
and "Dear Iran -- He's in Florida. Thanks, Calif."
Tell the Criminal Attorney General -- it wasn't me, you treason-twat

MIDTERM ELECTION, 1986:
this shit came out over the summer.
We began to hear that poor old Reagan was out to lunch, had been for years.
I thought, "That's it for the GOP"

But America said "Duh", went back to sleep.
Just like in 1972.
What happens this time ?

EuroNews: These words were uttered, by Guess Who at NY rally:
“After we finish defeating Iran, which is suffering a very severe defeat, I will soon announce that the Strait of Hormuz will be land belonging to the United States.”
Will be land ?
For a moment I thought, “problem in translation”

By what kind of reasoning?
In the 70s, US Dept. of Defense (!) announced that it “will not be deprived of oil to carry out its mission”, uh-oh.
Where is the USA just like Iran? People with their lives in front of them want the corrupt geezers out.
You wonder what exotic drugs he gets from Musk, to operate at such a level, for a couple hours each day.

When was America Great Again… for a few years, the whole world didn’t spit when it heard our name
Next, we shall import “the finest beef”, at 25% off, oh indeed.
Farmers all upset.
Poor old broke-down fat impotent Ass-Clown, he just can’t win.
Healthy reaction not to be looked for?

#25thAmendment
significant problems with that approach too

I am thinking of another entirely fake & worthless person, who never, never talks about "having some class".

Never had any, wouldn't know what it looks like, surely has been told that.

#ImpeachAgain

Guess Who now wants a plan for steam technology to launch our planes from aircraft carriers [because, you know, imaginary money is unlimited].

What he needs is someone to bust a chair over his head when these inspirations come. Remember, "Magnets are no good when they get wet ?"
I believe this is called a "hobbyhorse"

Suddenly a flurry of references to Flann O'Brien on here ?
"Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" mentions a service to make your books look like you read them & loved them. Do you hear a little bell ringing?
O'Brien aka Myles na gCopaleen wrote pages about his imaginary enterprise in +-1950s: your books dog-eared, coffee/wine-stained, smudged, marginalia
("Poor Joyce said the same thing to me once").
As ever, it's damned funny (his "Cruiskeen Lawn" column in the Irish Times for many years).
Do yourself a kindness, read "The Third Policeman".
"The Best of Myles" can be downloaded ...
You take it from there, never say I didn't give you something incomparable

If I hate anything more than speaking up for the Church, it's Fatso the Punk President.
Vance really said the Pope must be careful talking about theology !
Let's contemplate that --to get baptized, he (recently) promised to accept papal infallibility as to faith & morals, on pain of damnation, that's the deal.

(Is there some new innovation on that? Optional?)
& let's not even dignify what
#trumpslittlejohnson
had to say
As for 'aggressive war' -- faith & morals comes into it somewhere, no?

can’t think of another President of whom consensus said,
We really can’t survive this shitshow.
America will be despised by the whole world, out of business too

& no one can tell him the sensible, decorous thing to do;
won’t leave unless it's a promotion
But he’s hit the ceiling, a filthy dog scraping its ass across the ceiling of history

Tell him he can be the King of Golf,
King of Cartoons,
King Of All Assholes

King of Florida ?
oh hell he’d sell naval bases to Russia & China

Just started this book ...
What did Orwell want to say about '1984', in his final months?

"The moral to be drawn from this dangerous nightmare situation is a simple one:

**Don't let it happen.
It depends on you**"

Seen this before ?
WHEN you are at once a joke and a crook atop a pyramid of idiots and bandits in gov't,
AND it's becoming obvious to [not quite everyone]
YOU START A WAR--
Saddam 1988, Putin 2014, 2022

I've been waiting for this
Now where's a target that nobody will speak up for ?
Maduro/Venezuela, drug cartels ?

Perfect !

CONSPIRACY AGAINST RIGHTS you say?
HERE'S something we should have learned in Civics class,
when we had them]

Paragraph 1 covers much area, you know ?
"Any person" includes noncitizens of course. "free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege", wow-

[compare w "quiet enjoyment" of your home, which you don't have with unbearable noise next door- thus you have grounds to go to court]

The "go in disguise" part is not the important bit. Run thru Para 1 again

oops forgot:

Not So Long Ago --
this is the asswipe who published children's books with [forgive me]
a king donald and his wizard kash.

But even he didn't expect (?) to find himself at the head of Formerly-the-World's-Most-Respected-Law-Enforcement-Agency

[well that's what J Edgar's PR machine always said...]
Picture everyone at FBI trying to stop laughing when he walks in ...

Jack Goldsmith, a law professor at Harvard, on new theory of Constitution:

(a) the Constitution vests all of the executive power in the president, (b) all subordinate executive branch officials are removable at will by the president, (c) the president’s Article II duty to “take care that the laws be faithfully executed” entails an exclusive presidential power to decide which laws to enforce or not to enforce and (d) the president can thus direct and control all subordinate executive officials.

& with this I'm out

HEY KIDS ! Are you making a lot of sandwiches for local event ?

Look at how we've been conditioned:

Of course he did, are you a child ?"

Has the toilet of history sucked Mr Gaetz down ? I expect Fox News has some vacancies, for the inexcusable talking to the ineducable.

Now will we do the same for Patel, McMahon, Oz, Hegspeth, Miller ...
and the unfathomable, the genuine dickhead Whitaker [for NATO] ?
Talking about toilets --
there's something he might well be in charge of [remember?]
And then for real loathsomeness, there's mouthpiece (!) Steven Cheung ...
