Jensen really is a contemptible twat.

Hurray, SpaceX’s “profits are UP!”

SpaceX’s actual profit:

This is the dumbest of all the timelines. https://stocks.apple.com/AlA5yZtqlQh6qCvOTMRMXnw @davidgerard

Adding “Certified Prompt Engineer” to my CV because who in the fuck knows what *that* means.

What the fresh hell is this?

Someone give me a billion dollars just so I can live as a shining example of a billionaire who bought a sailboat and went cruising without fucking the rest of the world over.

The bar exam is not an “insignificant” detail. You fucking failed then lied about your credentials.

OMFG. Will the stupid ever cease. Want to get laid? BE LESS TOXIC.

<whoopee cushion noises>

Is there a Stepford Wife assembly line where White House press secretaries are manufactured?

Melon Husk is the most broke ass trillionaire in the universe. Why does the richest man on earth feel the need to appease T? Unless it’s all just bullshit. Being so beholden to such a little man is the definition of poverty, not wealth.

Crazytown sunset colors tonight. Not long after I took this, a near murmuration of HUNDREDS of crows passed overhead to circle and land in a nearby park. I have never seen so many at once.

Already pivoted to SDI: Super Duper Intelligence. Do try to keep up, @lauren

This brings us to a competitor in the scaling competition: Donald Crowhust, an electronics inventor who enters into the race with a trimaran. This is an absolutely surreal tale and involves electronics and ham radio. https://www.thriftbooks.com/w/the-strange-last-voyage-of-donald-crowhurst_ron-hall_nicholas-tomalin/369649/

My favorite sailing books.

A Voyage for Madmen, which chronicles the first single-handed sailing race around the world.

This is the reality of “stock options” now. The shares handed out to grunts are diluted into toilet paper and the insiders get gravy shares.

Unpopular hot take: if I get to choose a project where the responsible adults live and will simply do things safely, it’s petroleum refining and petrochemicals all damned week and twice on Sunday. They spend the money, take no shortcuts, the systems soldier on for two to three decades and get replaced.

The avante garde press darling chemical plants funded by vulture capital are completely the Wild West on the other hand.

The innards of Super Intelligence are just hard-coded responses and Claude-written python, etc.
