PSA for #CatsOfMastodon

As you are posting a picture of your beloved, click to edit the image before you post.

You will see a circle that you can move around the picture to select a focal point. Not sure if it works on all apps but it definitely works on a Mac browswer.

Move the circle to the focal point of your image.

In this image I moved the circle to slightly above my cat's heads.

Voila! No more cat butts in the cropped preview.

You're welcome.

Wonderful suggestions!!

In summary, it looks like the best way is from a web browser. So, I’m off to try this on Vivaldi (mastodon friendly) on a Mac.

Thanks everyone!!

Can someone explain how I subscribe or follow a hashtag to create a hashtag feed?

I’m using ToooT, Metatext, sometimes Firefox or Vivaldi browser.

I cannot figure this out. Help?

My social media goals:

Actively shifting my media habits from politics to the weird and wonderful wherever it's found: cats, trees, books, baking, sci-fi, natural phenomena, fungus, lichen, photography, art, architecture and design.

I am a painter who loves color but currently painting shades of gray. Seems appropriate.

I am also a blue dot in a red state so I boost every heroic blue Hoosier I encounter.
