It's time for something useful for Move owners:
Speech fixes for Ableton Move: Sampling, Slice, sample controls and step velocity, using its native screen-reader path.

Here we go then, Dolphin Apollo/Juno NVDA Addon based on original work by @rommix0@mastodon.social. Thank you for your work.

The more I'm reading about MS and onedrive, the more I worry for my friends and family that don't even know they're using it. Terrible service.

I've added six Spitfire Audio NKS packs to OnjMusic, in the Spitfire Audio folder.

New conversions:
Chateau Piano: 37 presets.Solar: 99 presets.
Native VST3 mapping repairs:
BBC Symphony Orchestra: 98 presets. (Clearly Spitfire were never going to do it themselves.)Abbey Road Orchestra: 13 Low Percussion presets, not the complete Orchestra range.Originals - Abe Laboriel Jr Drums: 11 presets.Originals - Media Toolkit: 24 presets.
The repairs address controls that either did nothing or operated the wrong parameter when running natively on Apple silicon. These have been tested in Komplete Kontrol inside Logic, including sound changes and the mapped knobs. Windows hasn't been tested.
The repaired banks retain their original factory filenames and preset identities, so you can back up and replace the matching factory NKS files without having to start your favourites again. Alternatively, install them as user presets; choose one method to avoid duplicates.
All six packs include previews and HTML installation/knob guides. For the two new conversions, Chateau Piano and Solar, I've also included original OnjMusic browser and hardware artwork in NI Resources. The four repaired factory banks use their existing Spitfire artwork.
Feedback welcome!

WE have a new Getting Started with Clipman guide, contributed by the very kind @laurent.
Thank you for such a great resource. I hope it benefits everybody wishing to get into Clipman but who may have found it a little bit daunting.

Explain to someone that signing a pdf is somewhat difficult due to the fact I use a screen-reader.
Their response:
'Can't you just print it out, sign it and send it back to me?'

That.

I have established an OnjMusic NKS dropbox folder so I can keep on-top of free and paid plugins I personally own. If you're waiting for something and it isn't happening, and if I can get it, I am happy to convert to NKS for those interested.
If you want an invite, drop me a line.

So far I've done:
Crow Hill Vaults, Pocket Strings, Demon Drop 01 and Piano Rack FX.
Most of the Full Bucket Music libraries.
A factory bank for the Roland XV-5080 with 5050 sounds.
Rhodes Clav Pro, but you can still buy that from Jason if you prefer.
Westwood Roots Choral Fragments.
XLN Audio RC-20 Retro Color VST3.

My goal is to have presets out the day of, or soon after launch. Sighted people have lives and commitments and that's obviously fine, but it means we often get left behind.
I am going to do my very best to rectify that going forward.
You can find all of my conversions here: https://onj.me/nks

Yesterday I took the plunge and upgraded to MacOS 27 to see how much stuff would fall over and fail to work. Only one thing out of a lot of moving parts, none of which was one of my sound libraries so that's lucky. The thing that did go away was my preferred speech engine for Komplete Kontrol but I fixed it later. This is also a way to show you all what's currently in my template right now. I have a lot of sounds to pick from when on-stage.

I gave a presentation about uses of AI in accessible music making for Drake Music yesterday, was live-streamed on youtube. Discussed the now on-board screen-reader of Ableton Move, Speech generation, and other presentations touched on things like stem splitting which is hugely useful. https://www.youtube.com/live/Jr4J2-3qRqg?si=rrwqFzeHRJA1b9Vb&t=529

1. I made a call in WhatsApp via Siri. No problem.
2. During that call, my phone was effectively held hostage. I could *not* go to the home screen whatsoever.
I could switch apps from app switcher or with a 4-finger swipe, but going to the home screen, not a chance, nor could I lock the phone.
I have never seen that before.

The below text speaks to certain people, not all. I know plenty that would be quite happy with a small screen, but apparently you just could never have a good time with such a thing, because eyeballs are the only way to work with anything. Obviously.

'Remember when phones had tiny screens? The original iPhone's 4.5-inch screen seemed groundbreaking at the time, but by today's standards, that just doesn't cut it. A phone should have at least a 5.6-inch screen, though most nowadays are at least 6.1 inches. This allows you to enjoy a comfortable experience when holding the phone and typing two-handed while still being able to clearly see the content on it. That screen should also be an AMOLED panel with HD resolution and a decent peak brightness of at least 1,000 nits, so it's viewable in direct sunlight.'

Here's the XV-5050 Bank H NKS supplement for the Roland Cloud XV-5080 VST3.

It contains 128 Bank H patches only ever found on the XV-5050 module not the XV-5080, plus R&B Kit 1 and House Kit, with newly rendered previews for all 130 presets. It's intended to complement the Freelance Soundlabs XV-5080 collection; none of that collection's original presets, previews or artwork are included.

You'll need the XV-5080 VST3 plugin and Komplete Kontrol. The ZIP includes an HTML readme with clickable links and installation instructions.

After rescanning the User library, select Roland Cloud, then XV-5080. The melodic patches are under XV-5050, then Bank H; the two drum kits are under Factory, then Bank H.

73 entries are labelled [Approx] because of effect/control differences, with details in their preset comments. All 130 were checked using the actual Mac plugin and indexed by Komplete Kontrol 3.5.4. Windows/Maschine playback and exact hardware parity remain unverified.

I hope these benefit someone. In my case, I can begin to resurrect old midi files I was last able to play in 2007, so I'm very happy today.

Was told about a free 14 GB library for UVI today, so I thought I might as well grab it. Got some killer drums in it, and also this very beautiful piano that I just had to play. I should be in bed really, but you know...

I have the files for 13 AT&T voices now. 5 GB of Flac. Lots of clips about weather, transportation, clips from the WSJ, strange spellings, single syllable words and a lot of other weirdness.

I was able to get Codex to grab all the pCM data out of AT&T Mike, it presented me with some 2080 files, over 5 hours. This is what he sounds like raw.

I should also add that thanks to the fantastic idea from @ednun_p, both Music and speech have context-sensitive help. Press F1 on *any* control for a little info about it. There's an option in that dialog to open the full manual as well.
After seeing ed's REMSound do this, I thought I really have to do this for my apps going forward, so that's my plan.
