Glorifying France when they protest against their oppressive systems… but vilifying, demeaning and disrespecting African Americans when we protest and riot against a system that has enslaved and oppressed billions.

Or just outright killing the original Ferguson 6.

I’m never going back in the office at this point.

#PHPGATE is ruining lives at one of the music management firms

Once again, tech making things more complicated than it has to be. I don’t remember it being like this.

Thank you for reminding me I’m not completely alone on this dumpster fire of a planet. 💜

For my those going through it (an illness), and my survivors… did you tell anyone? Professionally? Personally?

If you feel like sharing. Tell me why.

I haven’t told Kingfish yet. I don’t know if I should. He’s such a sweet, sensitive baby. I don’t want to distract or worry my little baby brother. 🥺

I haven’t told ANY of my artists, clients or employers yet. Just one, and that’s on a need to know basis. I don’t think I will. I feel like I’ll lose opportunities. I’m just going to have to… ride this out. Quietly.

As much as I lay into mastodon for harboring a violently racist environment, it’s moments like these that remind how amazing you humans are. If I complain more than I thank and praise you all for your support, I ask for forgiveness.

The loss (kidnapping) of my godmother, the writers strike, Eaton fires, the first layoff from Sony… every time fuckery has tried to ruin my life, you have supported me to no end. I am so thankful for this community. I thought I was I alone on this one. Maybe not.

For my international friends or for people who hate PayPal/Venmo, I do have Revolut and Wise:

Revolut: https://revolut.me/erickasimone
Wise: https://wise.com/pay/me/erickasimonew

Thanks for asking, sorry I didn’t provide that initially.

If anything… I’ll just take a hug. If you can’t donate right now, a simple hug and maybe a link to your favorite album so I can listen to it (bonus if it’s Apple, tidal or bandcamp music)… that’s really all I need. Music and a hug and your support.

Thank you guys.

Ima go cry in a dark room for a while and then go figure this out.

I don’t like asking for help. It feels like digital panhandling, and with all the scammers out there, I don’t want people to think I’m one of THOSE. But this is one of those situations where… I’m kinda literally facing death. Alone. It’s been daunting.

I will not ask for a set amount. You just send whatever and I will immediately pay all bills.

Oh. Side note. I’ll be happy to provide proof of everything, and receipts for all bills if you’d like. 100% financial transparency and responsibility.

Okay. So. I was diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer. It requires an immediate hysterectomy. However. I had to postpone because finances will not allow me to rest, and layoffs are happening at my music label.

As usual, I refuse to ask for help. It feels horrible. But so many of you have offered.

So. If you’d like to donate to “Project Hysterectomy: Yeet that Uterus and Heal 2026,” I’d be grateful.

I have to pushback major surgery to remove cancer/my uterus because I am the only provider for myself, disability won’t kick in on time, and capitalism demands I sacrifice my life to stay alive.

America is an absolute shithole.

If I survive, prep the refuge room, because I HAVE to get out this country you guys. lol.

No. I don’t have enough time or money for anything. I’m already behind on bills and rent needs to be paid. I have to push it back. I have no support at all.

I have to go work for the next two weeks minimum before I can relax. Capitalism doesn’t care if I might have cancer.

Jesus Christ. They want to do surgery immediately. Like… tomorrow

You guys.

I’m not ready on any level.

America is a racist shithole and I really just want to get out of here.

Well… the whole planet is a racist shithole honestly and I’d still like to be yeeted to Mars, but I guess getting out of America is enough.

Also. Reading about instagram shutting down the accounts of organizers is just about par for course.

Why are you organizing your movements on nazi platforms? Why are you broadcasting what you’re doing on systems owned by the enemy?

I really just don’t know you guys.

America is embarrassing. There is no revolution.

The angry mayo parades being touted as “No Kings” is a joke. Another one in a long line of hilarious jokes disguised as “movements” (Occupy, Anon, BLM) that ends up collapsing due to mismanagement, manipulation and internal anti-blackness.

I don’t want to say it’s 25 years too late, but Nazis have “Hail Hydra’ed” their way into every part of government, and people think not voting and standing on the streets mad will work.

I just don’t know.

10.17. #France.
AKA: Another normal day for France, another day I wish America would stand up and stand out the way France does.

#Caturday and I don’t even have cats:

What you wish for immigrants, indigenous and the Black diaspora is exactly what I wish for you.
